Description
- The DF Quarter horseshoe is a standard DF horseshoe where the clips are at the quarter position of the shoe.
- The familiar Radius clips with sufficient material at the base are at the level of nail holes two and three and run nicely along the outside of the shoe.
- In addition, this shoe optimises the horse's balance and locomotion by bringing the hoof slightly forward if necessary.
- This makes it very suitable for horses whose hoof position (e.g. flat feet) needs to be corrected.
- The V-shaped crease with nail holes that have a correct pitch provides a good fit that requires only minimal adjustment during the shoeing period.
- Available in various sizes and sections with 8mm and 10mm thickness.
