beris Pelham short, thin comfort bar
Nuo 174.95€
Description
- The anatomically correctly shaped mouthpiece rests evenly and lightly on the tongue and bars, providing more space and freedom of movement for the tongue. When taking the reins, even pressure is applied to the lower jaw and tongue. There is no lateral squeezing of the tongue and bars. Bit guards makes it impossible to pinch the lips. Thanks to its slightly curved shape, the comfort bar lies especially nicely in the mouth. Mouthpieces with a slightly curved bar are considered to be particularly gentle and easy on the mouth. This feature, combined with our Beris synthetic material, enables horse and rider to communicate even more gently and comfortably. Identical in shape to the comfort bar, only the thickness of the mouthpiece is much smaller at 15mm. This makes the mouthpiece an ideal bit for ponies or horses that have very little space in their mouth. The Pelham - a classic with a more elegant design refined by us. When taking the reins, the bit acts on the mouth, lower jaw and poll. Depending on the shank length (5 cm or 7.5 cm), the bit can be angled directly in the mouth to varying degrees. Can be used on horses that have difficulty coming through at the poll, "hot" horses, or on horses that need significant input in critical situations (such as jump offs or similar). The Pelham is supplied with curb hooks. Supplied without curb chain, matching beris curb chain: item no. 6541001
- Bits for ambitious leisure riders and professionals alike.
- The Beris bit factory in Schleswig-Holstein was created through years of experience in bit making and the resulting experience, craftsmanship and passion for equestrian sports:
- A passion for horses.
- Protecting the horse’s sensitive mouth is of particular concern to Beris. From the snaffle ring to the elaborate side section: every piece of metal is formed, welded and polished to perfection by hand.
- The innovative design of the mouthpiece also ensures better acceptance of the bit and facilitates communication between horse and rider. Beris mouthpieces are made of food-safe plastic with a finish and surface treatment that is unrivalled in plastic mouthpieces to date. Their surface is particularly smooth and they glide well in the mouth, even with horses that do not salivate much. Practically all horses like our mouthpieces. They salivate, chew more and accept the bit readily. Genuine craftsmanship made in Germany.
- Bit thickness 15 mm
